Providing exercise, health education and support programs, free of charge, for women affected by cancer. We welcome women of all ages and fitness levels in all stages of cancer treatment and recovery.
WHY
TEAM SURVIVOR?
Research studies have proven that exercise has significant physical and psychological benefits for individuals who are undergoing or have undergone cancer treatment.
The Team Survivor™ programs strive to provide a fun, safe and supportive exercise experience for women cancer survivors. Our programs are open to women of all ages and fitness levels and in all stages of cancer treatment and recovery.
Many of our participants are first-time exercisers or are returning to
fitness after a period of time; others are experienced athletes. All of our participants enjoy the support provided by working out with women who share similar experiences and goals as they regain control of their health, their bodies and their lives.
